With This Line

In their debut pocket book, the Little Read Writers are assigned to write down verbal instructions as dictated by designer and writer, Mark Searcy. Read as they scribble their assignment on a small piece of paper, draw a line on it’s reverse side, then proceed to write a piece that begins with the words “With this line…” The pages are filled with a beautiful and austere collection of writing forwarded by an image of each writer’s hand-drawn lines. Subject matter ranges from Jim Henson’s funeral to poetic instructions for navigating dream-scapes.
